HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. James Ralph Moats Jr., 46, husband of Karen Brittingham Moats, entered into rest Tuesday, September 22, 2009.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at Central Church of Christ, 3650 Old Petersburg Road, Martinez, with the Pastor Scott Patterson officiating.
Mr. Moats was born in Sandersville, Ga., to the late James Moats Sr. and Marlene Gahm Moore and was a general contractor. Being a devoted family man, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Karen B. Moats; two daughters, Ashley Palmer (Kenny), Thomson and Amanda Brown (Josh), Savannah; four sisters, Debbie King, Tampa, FL, Cindy Holt, Thomson, Linda Williams, Blythe and Cheryl Bazemore, Gibson; mother-in-law, Betty Weathers, Hephzibah; and two grandchildren, Dylan Bryson and Delayna Bryson.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
