The Stapleton Lodge of Woodmen of the World is sponsoring a blood drive at McDuffie Regional Medical Center in Thomson next Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The blood drive, which will be held from 2 until 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the local hospital, will aid Shepherd Community Blood Center.
The drive is being conducted in memory of Fay Johnson, who served as a member of the Stapleton Lodge of Woodmen of the World before his death two years ago. He lived in North Augusta.
Those donating to the cause will be treated to free refreshments.
