APPLING, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Christine C. Brooks Dent, 64, Appling, was held on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Enon Baptist Church, Evans with Rev. John W. Harmon, eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two devoted sons, Barnabas R. (Gwenette) Dent, Evans, and Quinton R. Dent, Appling; two grandchildren, Sha'Toria A. Dent, and Taylor M. Dent, both of Evans; devoted twin brother, Christopher C. Brooks, Paris, CA; four sisters, Geneva (Granvil) Hawes, Augusta, Lillian Dent, Long Island, NY, Georgia M. Brooks, Union City, NJ, and Elder Albena T. Rogers, Royse City, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law, Anna (James) Bennett, Appling, Richard (Willie Mae) Dent, Appling, Doyle (Christine H.) Dent, Appling, Ronnie (Ruby Mae) Dent, Augusta, Billy Dent and Alexander Dent, both of Appling; one aunt, Albena Williams, Syracuse, NY, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
