Lamb-Clark wed Sept. 19

Morgan Diane Lamb and Brandon "Heath" Clark were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at Pine Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. David O. Jones officiated.

Morgan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lamb, of Gibson, Ga. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thomas, of Warrenton, and Ms. Evydell Lamb and the late Mr. Clarence Lamb. She is a graduate of Medical College of Georgia with a bachelor of science in dental hygiene. She is employed by Dr. Erick Pagan in Washington, Ga.

Heath is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Clark, of Thomson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Love, Ms. Dorothy Autry, Ms. Dorinda Clark and the late Mr. Alton "Red" Clark. He is enrolled at Augusta Technical College majoring in industrial mechanics and is employed by Timmerman in Warrenton, Ga.

Given in marriage by her father, Morgan chose her friend, Ashley Brooks Kelley, of Gibson, to serve as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Torre Watkins Clark, sister-in-law of the groom, and Miss Elisabeth Drew Beebe, of South Carolina, Mrs. Jennie Underwood Phillips, of Augusta, Mrs. Alicia Phillips Usry and Miss Ashlee Rogers, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Miss Brinley Kaelin Irby of Gibson, niece of the bride.

Heath chose his father to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Philip Wayne Clark, brother of the groom, and Mr. Wayne Eugene Newsome, Mr. Wayne Iverson Neal, Mr. Joey Akers and Mr. Christopher Story, all friends of the groom.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at Raysville Boat Club in Thomson. The newlyweds honeymooned in Mexico. The couple resides in Thomson.
