Authorities recently arrested two men on drug charges near Dearing.
The suspects were identified as Decarlos Rodriques Walker, of the 3800 block of Augusta Highway, and Terry Maurice Hudson, of the 2000 block of Hobbs Mill Road, both of Dearing, according to an incident report filed by Deputy Alan Baldwin of the McDuffie County Sheriff's Department.
Both men are charged with Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act for possession of with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine along with possession of drug-related objects, records show. An additional charge of obstruction of a law enforcement officer also was levied against Mr. Walker.
The suspects are being held in the McDuffie County Law Enforcement Center in Thomson.
