THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Ruth Hildebrand, 91, the widow of the Rev. Ward Hildebrand, died Monday, October 12, 2009, at Mt. Pleasant Alternative Care.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2009, in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jim Ramsey officiating.
Mrs. Hildebrand was a native of Glenville, Ga., but lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Thomson First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Newt Hildebrand, of Thomson; a daughter, Betty Low, of Redmond, Ore., a sister, Virginia Hilton, of Columbia, S.C.; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
