Clay Blasingame
School: Ninth grade at Thomson-McDuffie Junior High School
Family: Clay is the son of Janie Kate and Ben Blasingame. He has two sisters.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Math. It's my best subject.
What do you like to do after school?
I play baseball. (Clay plays for the Thomson JV Bulldogs as shortstop, third baseman, catcher and pitcher.)
What would you like to be when you grow up?
I hope to play baseball. First, I'll go to college and play; then I want to play in the majors.
What would you like to see in Thomson for young people?
We need better role models for our future, to show us what not to do.
What do you like best about Halloween?
Being able to scare folks and not get in trouble for it.
