Family: Steven is the son of Lynne and Frank Powell, and he has one step-brother.
What is your favorite subject in school? English, because I like the teacher.
What do you like to do after school? Football practice, and basketball practice is starting. Anything sports. (Steven plays center and defensive tackle for the Briarwood Buccaneers.)
What do you think was the Bucs' best game this year? We beat David Emanuel Academy 41-0 last week. So that was good.
What are your plans after graduation? I'm not sure yet. Maybe I'd like to try being a coach.
What's it like being a junior? It's easier than the sophomore year as far as classes, at least for me it is. Chemistry is the hardest class.
