Jon and Jenifer Hammond would like to announce the birth of their son, Mason Wilkes Hammond, born September 3, 2009, at Trinity Hospital of Augusta. He weighed 9.5 and 1/2 ounces and was 20 inches long.
He is the grandson of Terri Blackburn, of Thomson, Pete and Debra Chalker, of Warrenton and Jerry and Brenda Hammond, of Idaho. He is the great-grandson of Billy and Delores Wilkinson.
Mason was welcomed home by his two older sisters, Grade, 9, and Faith, 7.
