FOR MORE INFO: Thursday and Fridays garbage collection will be made on Wednesday Dec. 23. Friday garbage collection for New Year's will be made on Thursday, Dec. 31. Citizens are reminded not to place their garbage or recycle containers at curbside on Thursday or Friday. If an emergency arises on Thursday or either of the Fridays, citizens should call 706-595-2145 or 706-595-6133 to arrange repairs of utility (water, sewer, natural gas) services. The police and fire departments will be on the job as usual.
