The Thomson Junior Women's club holds several fundraisers throughout the year. They use these funds to give back to the Thomson community. Each spring they provide and make lunches for the Cub Scout Olympics.
They have also been in charge of the luminarias for the Relay for Life each year. They collect the luminarias, type each one and place them on the track.
The club's biggest contribution each year is at Thanksgiving and Christmas. At Thanksgiving they provided a family from each of the seven schools a Thanksgiving meal, including turkey, vegetables, rolls and pies. Thanks to the following businesses for contributing to these meals: Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, Habanero's, McDonald's and Donald Palmer, owner of Happy Valley Processing Co.
The club also provided for seven families, one from each school, for Christmas, including gifts for the children.
