Brown- Dyson
Mr. and Mrs. Tim Brown of Thomson announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittney Elizabeth Brown, to Christopher Brian Dyson, of Washington, son of Betty Dyson and Bill Dyson, also of Washington.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Brown of Washington and Mrs. Leonard Scott and the late Mr. Scott of Lincolnton.
Miss Brown is a 2004 graduate of Briarwood Academy and a 2009 graduate of Georgia College and State University where she earned bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed by 5 Point Solutions in Lexington, S.C.
Mr. Dyson is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dyson of Washington and the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Fulton of Pembroke, Ga.
Mr. Dyson is a 2002 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2006 graduate of Athens Technical College where he earned his diploma in electrical construction and maintenance. He is employed by Thomson Metals, Inc. in Thomson.
The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, July 24 at Sacred Heart Cultural Center in Augusta with a reception to follow.
