THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Ms. Talaneshia Quasha Calhoun, 20, of Thomson, was held on Saturday, December 26, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church, Gibson, with Pastor, Rev. Leroy Hudson, Jr., officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Jacqueline Calhoun, and father, Luther Gilmore, both of Thomson; two sisters, Kiwa N. Calhoun and Myrtle D. Calhoun, both of Thomson; four brothers, Delvicco L. Calhoun, Augusta, Michael D. Calhoun, Dontavious M. Calhoun, and Antwon Gilmore, all of Thomson; two god-brothers, Michael D. Thomas, Augusta, and Bryant Thomas, Texas; five aunts, Mildred (Mike) Thomas, Grovetown, Faye Evans, Doris
(Jim) Ivery, all of Thomson, Blondell (James) McElroy, Martinez, and Beverley Boyd, Harlem; seven uncles, Charlie (Betty) Douglas, Phillip Douglas, Eugene Douglas, W. C. (Doris) Douglas, James (Rebecca) Douglas, all of Harlem, Willie Douglas, David (Mae) Douglas, all of Augusta; grandmother, Erma Jean Gilmore, Thomson; two special nieces, Dasani Lucas and Ja'Zhian L. Calhoun, both of Thomson; two special friends, Susie Mayes and Cathy Battle, both of Thomson; a host of other relatives and friends.
