DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Janice 'Jan' Ousley, 62, beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, entered into rest and joined our heavenly Father on Sunday, December 27, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Ousley was born in Mobile, Alabama to the late Wilson John Normand and Mrs. Janice Lindsay Normand. She has made her home in Dearing, Ga for more than 35 years where she was a homemaker and dedicated mother. She has always been an avid reader, enjoyed music, singing, and spending time with her family as well as helping and rescuing animals in need. She was a member of the Mount Tabor Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Newton Francis Ousley, Jr. 'Shott', Grovetown; daughter Jillian Janice Felder and husband, Jamie, Grovetown; her mother Janice Lindsay Normand, Centerville; three brothers, Jerry Normand and wife Glenda, Mississippi, Mike Normand and wife, Linnea, Gainsville, and Dennis Normand , Centerville; two sisters, Joy Norton and husband, Jim, Flowerybranch and Judy Wallace and husband, Bob of California; and two grandchildren, Jasmine Joyce Ousley and Newton Francis Ousley, III. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Mount Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery with Danny McClure officiating.
