NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Graveside services for Mrs. Sidney B. Laster, 86, of Clearwater Road, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest January 7, 2010, were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. Key Kernaghan officiating.
Mrs. Laster was a lifelong resident of North Augusta. She was retired from Seminole Mills and was the wife of the late Cecil T. Laster.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Cecil and Cindy Laster, Sr., Augusta; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and David Alexander, Aiken, Betty and Jake Jacobs, Thomson and Cecilia and Frank Watson, Beech Island; a brother Clifford Bell, Lyons, GA; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , PO Box 1725, Augusta, Georgia 30903.
