Mr. Timothy Verlyn "Tim" Partain

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Timothy Verlyn "Tim" Partain, 50 of Thomson, entered into rest January 7, 2010.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2010, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Randy Dunaway and Don Widener officiating. Graveside services followed at 3 p.m. at the Campton Methodist Church Cemetery in Walton County.

Mr. Partain was a native of Monroe, Ga., lived in Conyers, Ga. and moved to Thomson seven years ago. He was a graduate of Monroe County High School and worked as a computer draftsman with Greenfire Systems in Conyers. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Christian Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Renee Purser of Monroe; his father and step-mother V.C. and Alice Partain of Thomson; brother, Russell Hugh Partain of Marietta; sister, Chris Lynn Partain Bennett of Monroe and his best friend, Tina Wells of Thomson. Mr. Partain was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ellen Queen Hall. Memorials may be made to Little Brier Creek Baptist Church c/o Julia Massey, 3580 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Thomson, Ga. 30824.

Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
