WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Donald Weston, 82, husband of the late Mrs. Pauline E. Meyers, entered into rest January 9, 2010 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1326 Washington Rd., Thomson, Ga., with Father Bill Williams officiating. Interment was in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mr. West was born in Chippewa, Mich. He served in the U.S. Army with a tour in Vietnam and retired after more then 20 years active service. Survivors include: three daughters, June Cartwright, St. Louis,
Mo., Jenny Weston, Murfreesboro, Tenn., Jody Moore, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; stepson, Tim Sikes; two brothers, Richard Weston, Lansing, Mich., Bill Weston, Dewitt, Mich.; one grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
Thomas L. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
