NORWOOD, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Lillie Mae Mayes Bell, 78, of Norwood, was held on Saturday, January 9, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church, Norwood, with Pastor, Rev. Coleman Hayes, Jr., eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, David (Deborah) Bell of Amherst, NY, Willie (Deborah) Bell and Gregory (Nita) Bell, both of Warrenton; seven daughters, Susie (Eddie) Curry of Warrenton, Evyone (Wilbert) Jones, Dunkirk, MD, Edith Bell, Linda Bell, Hattie Bell, Julia (Alfred) Bell, all of Atlanta, and Annie Bell of Grovetown; two sisters, Clara Watkins and Ola Mae Wilson, both of Atlanta; one brother, Curtis Franklin, Atlanta; one stepbrother, Willie Mitchell, Atlanta; one stepsister, Sherrie Brown, Maryland; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
