THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Jack C. Young, 82, widower of Mrs. Dorothy Fox, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010, in the Thomson Health and Rehab. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.
Mr. Young was a life long resident of McDuffie County. He was retired from National Homes as a quality control worker. He was a member of Young Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Judy Ashmore, Thomson; his son, Scott Allen Young, Thomson; his three sisters, Sue Rabun, Stapleton, Ga., Bobbi Holloway, Edith Poe, both of Thomson; and three grandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
