Amanda Hope Davis, of Thomson, was recently named to the LaGrange College fall semester dean's list.
To be eligible for this honor, students must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.6 while taking a minimum course load of 12 hours.
A four-year liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the United Methodist Church, LaGrange College is consistently ranked in the top 10 and as a "best value" among Southern baccalaureate colleges by U.S. News & World Report.
The college, an award winner in sustainability, is the oldest private institution of higher learning in Georgia and has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students.
