Leslie and Gina Timmerman of Dearing are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Harris Timmerman, to Robert Corey Tanner, son of Robert Glenn Tanner of Milledgeville, Ga., and Peggy Beck of Macon, Ga.
The wedding is planned for 3 p.m. March 27, 2010, at Trinity Baptist Church in Martinez. Formal invitations will be mailed.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Rev. Gene and Nancy Johnson of Dearing and Preston and Ann Timmerman of Dearing. She earned a bachelor's degree in music education from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville and is employed by Lamar County Board of Education as a music teacher.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Walter Tanner of Dublin, Ga. He earned a bachelor's degree in music education from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. He is employed by Lamar County Board of Education as a middle school band director.
