The Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce annual banquet begins at 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at Belle Meade Country Club.
Keynote speaker for the evening will be Pam Carnes, a native of Thomson who is president and CEO of Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Carnes has a long list of accomplishments and experience in the Georgia Chamber of Commerce realm.
She also has been recognized in Georgia Trend Magazine, by the Boy Scouts of America, the Canton-Cherokee Business and Professional Women's Club and the Service League of Cherokee County.
Also at the banquet, the Darrell Johnson Award, the Thomson-McDuffie Small Business Person of the Year and the Ambassador of the Year recipients will be recognized.
