Mr. Thomas Dennis Bradford
Retired Freight Driver
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Thomas Dennis Bradford, 70, passed away at his home January 15, 2010.
He was born October 6, 1939 in Lincoln County. Mr. Bradford
had resided in Thomson for the past 35 years. He was a retired
freight driver for Pepsico and Spartan Express and an avid gardner.
He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of
Thomson.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Perdue Smith Bradford of
Thomson; his son, Jeff and Melissa Bradford of Sherwood, Illinois;
his daughter, Tonya and Bill Gowan of Thomson; two stepdaughters,
Vicky Reese (Wayne) and Kathy Locklear (Frank), all of Thomson;
his brother, Terry and Mary Lou Bradford of Washington; his sister,
Trudie and John Sutherland of Washington; his mother, Juanita
McCall Bradford of Washington; seven grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his father, Thomas A. Bradford of Lincolnton.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 4 p.m.
at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James M. Ramsey
officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the
American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association .
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
