Mr. Billy G. Rabun

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Billy G. Rabun, 73, beloved husband of
Mrs. Vera Rabun, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2009, in the
McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2009
in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Dr. Don Widener and Dr. John Cook officiating.
Mr. Rabun was a life long resident of McDuffie County. He was a
licensed insurance agent. He had retired from Curtis Funeral Home
with 35 years of service. He was a member of Thomson Presbyterian
Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Rabun, Thomson; his daughter,
Lisa (Tony) Usry, Thomson, his grandson, Gil Usry, Thomson; and
his brother, Sam Rabun, Thomson.
The family ask that donations be made to the Thomson
Presbyterian Church Building Renovation Fund, or to the Faith
Baptist Church Youth Camp Fund.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
