THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Joyce K. Taylor, 76, widow of Mr.
Julious Taylor, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in the McDuffie
Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2010
in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Lambert
officiating. Burial was in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Green County, but had lived in
Thomson for many years. She was a Baptist, and a homemaker. Mrs.
Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Julious Claude
Taylor, and her daughter, Beverly T. Grieves.
Survivors include her three daughters, Constance T. Selvey;
Billings Montana; Janice Claudette Morgan, Thomson; Victoria
T. Turner, Thomson; her three sons, Paul King Taylor, Escondito
California; William Lloyd Taylor, Florida; and Julian Mark Taylor,
Florida; her two sisters, Carolyn Meades, Grovetown Ga.; and
Alberta Hulsey, Rome Ga..; her grandchildren, Becky Grieves
Goshorn, Shawn Taylor, Erin Sullivan, Brittney Turner, Lindsey
Turner, and Darian Taylor. She has two great-grandchildren, and
several nieces and nephews.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
