Mr. Charles William Chapel, Jr.
EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Charles William Chapel, Jr., 54, husband of
Roberta McCool Chapel, entered into rest Saturday, January 23,
2010 at the residence.
Mr. Chapel was born in Memphis, Tenn., but had resided in the
Augusta area for many years. He was the owner and operator of a
marine sales and service business.
Family members in addition to his wife, include a son: Chris
Chapel, Sr. and wife Melissa of Grovetown; daughter: Jennifer
Chapel Weeks and husband Kyle of Martinez; mother: Virginia
LaMastus of Thomson; brother: Tom Chapel and wife Louanna of
Dearing; and grandsons: Christopher Chapel, Jr., Aiden Chapel,
Brooks Weeks, and Braden Weeks.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 6:
30 p.m. at Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Rev. Bobby Smith
officiating.
Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors was in charge of
arrangements.
