Rev. Isaiah Eberhart
DEARING Ga. - Rev. Isaiah Eberhart, 60, was the oldest of seven
children born to the union of the late George West Eberhart and
Willie Mae Turner Eberhart on August 26, 1949. He departed the
earthly life on Sunday, January 17 , 2010.
In his quest to spiritually lead God's people, he pastored one South
Carolina congregation and three Georgia congregations, including
Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Warrenton.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at
11 a.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, with the Rev. F.D. Favors,
pastor, presiding and Rev. Dr. James Washington, Jr. eulogist.
Interment was in the East Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Athens.
Survivors are: a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Miriam Eberhart;
daughter, Ivy Maria Eberhart; son, Ivan Marquis Eberhart; mother, Rev. Willie Mae Eberhart; sister, Reverend Linda (Greg) Colquitt,
and four brothers, Joseph Eberhart, Elijah (Christine) Eberhart,
Andrew (Gwen) Eberhart, and George West (Catherina) Eberhart,
Jr.
Fond memories were also shared by a host of nieces, nephews, and
friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
