The victory gave the Bucs of head coach Bo Fleming the No. 1 seed going into this week's Region 1-A Boys' Basketball Tournament being held at Briarwood Academy. The tourney began Tuesday and will continue through Friday. Complete coverage of the Briarwood games will be provided in a story in next week's edition of The McDuffie Mirror .

Stadler, a senior, scored 14 points, while Reese, a sophomore, tossed in 10 points. Other players scoring in the game for Briarwood included: Tyler Daniel, 9, Blake Sowell, 5, Ryan Nelson, 4, Thomas Lynam, 2 and Steven Gunn, 2 points.
