Mr. Robert "Bob" White
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Robert "Bob" White passed away on
February 20, 2010, at McDuffie County Regional Medical Center. He
was preceded in death four short months ago by his wife and soul mate
of 54 years Joan White. She was his reason for living and his one true
passion in life.
He is survived by his only daughter, Shirley Porylo, his beloved
grandson Damon White, granddaughters Heather Ridgdill, and Amber
Ridgdill, and great grandchildren Lynzie White and Toby White.
Bob retired from Ryder Truck after over 40 years with the company
and since retiring had enjoyed fishing, camping, trolling the waters of
Clark's Hill Lake on his pontoon boat and doting over his companion
Maltese "Baby Girl". In recent years he had enjoyed traveling to Iowa,
Wisconsin, and Wyoming to visit extended family and vacationing
with his wife in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The family will have a private service to scatter his cremains on the
waters of Clarks Hill Lake.
