Mr. Fred "Pete" Key, Jr.
DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Fred "Pete" Key, Jr., 48, beloved husband
of Mrs. Brenda Todd Key, died Saturday, February 27, 2010, at his
residence.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in the
Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Pitman officiating. Burial
was in the Dearing City Cemetery.
Mr. Key was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived most of his
life in Dearing. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was
a construction worker, and a member of the Carpenters Union Local
283.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Key Sr., and a brother,
Glenn Key.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Todd Key, Dearing; his two
daughters, Raven Key McKeigan and Samantha Key, both of Dearing;
his mother, Mrs. Sadie Key, Dearing, and his three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Lugari, Tim Cosby, Charles Morris, Michael
Jackson, Greg Thomas, and Billy Gay.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
