Mrs. Nona Louise Pardue Calhoun

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Nona Louise Pardue Calhoun entered into
rest Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at her residence. She was the widow of the
late Mr. John Ray Calhoun.
Family members are three sons, Troy Poteat, Augusta, Tim (Jane)
Calhoun, Hephzibah, and Preston (Nancy) Calhoun, Stapleton; two
daughters, Penny (Tony) Barlow, Burke County, Ga., and Trudie
(Ronnie) Brantley, Adriane, Ga.; one brother, Edward Smith, Prosperity,
S.C.; two sisters, Lunnette Willmeth, Thomson, and Wanda Lee McGee,
Piedmont, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Calhoun was born in Edgefield, S.C., the daughter of Rufus and
Geneva Pardue. She was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic
Christian Tabernacle.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at 1 p.m. at
the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie Scott
officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Chris Brown, Aaron Elder, Joey McFadden, Jimmy
Munro, Barry Pica, Bill Pica, Chuck Walden, Virgil Collett, Joshua
Scott, and Scotty Calhoun.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the family.
Thomas L. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
