Mr. Willie L. Tiller
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Willie L. Tiller of Augusta,entered into rest on
Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at University Hospital.
Funeral service were held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 3 p.m. at
First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Johnson officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden.
Mr. Tiller, a native of Telfair County, GA, retired from Standard
Bag Company as a supervisor after over 25 years of service. He was a
member of First Mt. Moriah where he sang with the Cross of Victory
choir and also with the family group, the Tiller Spirituals.
Survivors are his grandchildren, Tina (Dea. Donald) Bradshaw,
Thomson, William (Shelia) Combs Jr., Tasha Combs, Jennifer Tiller,
Joshua Perkins, Jessica Combs, Michelle Perkins, Katesha Tiller, Curtis
Tiller Jr., Augusta; great-grandchildren, Denisha Dyers, Thomson,
Trynati Combs, Faith Combs, Darious Tiller, Devin Tiller, Christian
Allen, Solomon Combs, William Combs III; daughters, Sabra (Elder
William) Combs, Carrie Tiller, Virwarner Tiller, Melissa Tiller,
Augusta; son, Curtis Tiller Sr., Augusta; daughter -in- law, Kimberly
Tiller; sisters, Rosa (Dea. Percy) Lowe, Augusta, Fannie Lowe, Athens;
devoted cousin, Jack Brown, Atlanta; and a host of nieces, nephews and
other relatives.
Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
