Mrs. Jannie Reeves Taylor Retired Thomson Co.
DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Jannie Reeves Taylor, 83, widow of Mr. Roy
Taylor, died Saturday, February 27, 2010, in the McDuffie Regional
Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 1 2010, in the
Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Pitman officiating. Burial
was in Dearing City Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was a life long resident of McDuffie County. She had
retired from the Thomson Company and was a member of Calvary
Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Sadie Key and Louise Cason,
both of Dearing; her son, Lee Roy Taylor, Grovetown; her sister, Sallie
Usry, Augusta; her three brothers, Johnnie Joe Reeves, Macon; Lynn
Jerry Reeves, Dearing, and Randall Reeves; Harlem; six grandchildren,
13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two grandsons, Glenn
and Pete Key. Pallbearers were Danny Cason, Dean Cason, Barry Lee
Taylor, Wayne Johnson, Lynn Reeves Jr., and Randy Reeves Jr.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Silver Run Baptist
Church Building Fund.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
