Mr. Claude Earl Lane
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Claude Earl Lane, 72, husband of Mrs.
Virginia Langham Lane, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at
the McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Thomson.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at
Dearing Full Gospel Church with the Revs. Jerry Rockefeller and Eddie
Renew officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Earl was born in Illinois to the late Clarence and Imogene Lane.
He was a member of Dearing Full Gospel Church. He was preceded in
death by his son Gerald Vernon Lane and a sister Glada Cagle.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Lane; two daughters, Donita
Rutherford (Wilbur) and Joyce Lane; one brother, William Lane
(Barbara); one sister, Mary Hampel (Larry); 13 grandchildren and 17
great-grandchildren.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
