THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. Detavious Deangilo
Moore, 22, of Thomson, was held on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 2
p.m. at Paynes Baptist Church, Mesena, with Pastor, Rev. Willie C.
Norwood, presiding, and Rev. Lester Woods, eulogist. Interment was
in the Westview Cemetery, Thomson.
Survivors include a son, Amontay Moore, Thomson; a daughter,
Danielle Moore, Augusta; his parents, father, Luther Moore, Jr.,
and mother, Joyce Mathis Moore, of Thomson; 2 brothers, Luther
(Beatrice) Moore, III, Augusta, and Recardo Senard Mathis, Thomson;
grandparents, Willie & Emmie Mathis, Thomson; a special cousin,
Anquavious McCord, Thomson; a companion, Bernedena Boatwright
and her children, Jayla Leonard, and David Boatwright, Jr., all of
Thomson; two uncles, Robert M. Butler, Thomson, and Michael E.
Mathis, Mesena; six aunts, Josephine Belton, Venita (Wayne) Shorty,
Mary (Bobby) Daggette, all of Thomson, Helen (Greg) Crawford,
Mesena, Shirley (Willie) Calvin, Augusta, and Alma (Melvin) Baymond,
Milledgeville; two nieces, Kalayha Moore, and MaKeysa Murry, both of
Augusta; nephews, Myron Predikant, and Kenneth Holloway, II, both
of Augusta; other relatives and friends. Thomson Funeral System was
in charge of arrangements.
