The McDuffie County Farm Bureau recently awarded a $1500 scholarship to Joshua Rodgers, son of Andy and Jan Rodgers, of Dearing.
The scholarships are awarded to outstanding high school seniors who are pursuing study in agriculture. Joshua plans to enter Abraham Baldwin College in the fall and major in biological and agricultural engineering.
These scholarships are sponsored by the Women's Committee of the McDuffie County Farm Bureau. J. Robert Farr is president and Mrs. Avis McGahee is Women's Chair.
