Bieltz scores 2 goals on route to 3-1 win

Jay Bieltz continues to add to his record-scoring soccer mark at Thomson High School.

In a game against Washington County on March 9, the senior star, who is hoping to play college soccer next season, scored two goals to help the Bulldogs to a 3-1 victory.

One of Bieltz's teammates, Daniel Falson scored the other goal.

Jonathan Atkins, the Bulldogs' goalie, made an impressive 14 saves in his first game

as a starter.

Thomson, now 3-2-1, will entertain West Laurens in a big Region 3-AAA game on Friday. Then on Saturday, Thomson will host the Harlem Bulldogs in a nonregion game.
