Mrs. Dorothy Lucille Brooks
GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy Lucille Brooks, 62, entered
into rest on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at her residence surrounded
by her family.
Mrs. Brooks was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she
attended Trinity Baptist Church.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Joe Brooks; daughter, Laura
(Danny) Alday of Grovetown; sons, Daniel Ray (Diane) Sheppard of IN,
Joe (Elizabeth) Brooks of North Augusta, SC; brothers, Larry Reese,
Henry Reese, both of SC, Fred Reese of Dearing, and Ricky Reese
of Augusta; grandchildren, Maria Alday, Mariah Alday, Scott Alday,
Macie Alday, Katie Alday, Marcus Alday, Carson Alday, Ruthie Alday,
and Melissa Brooks.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at
Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. K. C. Stevens officiating. Interment
followed at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
