Mr. Robert E. Rhodes, Sr.
DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Robert E. Rhodes, Sr., 79, went peacefully
into the arms of the Lord on March 2, 2010 with his loving wife of 53
years by his side.
Bob loved his family. He was the son of the late Frank Rhodes and
Rhett Greene Rhodes of Richmond County.
Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at
Starling Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Martin officiating.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Henderson Rhodes; his daughter
Patricia Rhett Barton of Dearing; two sons Robert 'Dusty' Rhodes,
Jr. (Lisa) of Augusta and John 'Russell' Rhodes (Susan) of Grovetown;
five grandchildren, Kristian Meadows, Kasey Rhodes, Reid Rhodes,
Matthew Rhodes, and Lauren Rhodes and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Shannon 'Baby Girl'
Rhodes.
