DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy Irene Hendrick, 81, wife of the late
of Edgar P. Hendrick, Jr., entered into rest Saturday, April 3, 2010 at
her residence.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. in
the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Rev. Mike Sutphin
officiating.
Mrs. Hendrick was born in West Virginia. She was a member of the
Mount Tabor Baptist Church and member of the Senior Sunday School
Class. She was a loving grandmother, affectionately known as Granny
Dot.
Survivors include four daughters, Peggy (Weldon) Robins, Dearing,
Judy Layman, Trenton, S.C., Nancy (Larry) Robinette, Thomson and
Linda Overbeck of Martinez; two sons, Edgar (Margie) Hendrick andMichael (Carol) Hendrick both of Dearing. Mrs. Hendrick is also
survived by 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Doug Brown, Wayne Bentley, Callaway Workman,
Jake Martin, Scott Martin and J. T. Rowell.
