DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Louis L. Phillips, 63, beloved husband of Mrs.
Rachel Phillips, died Thursday, April 1, 2010, in the Atlanta Medical
Center.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 3, in Calvary
Baptist Church with Rev. Todd
Upchurch and Mr. Ed Henderson
officiating. Burial was in the
church Cemetery.
Mr. Phillips was a native of
Columbia Co., but had lived
in Dearing for many years. He
was a Maintenance Mechanic for
Thermal Ceramics, and a member
of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife,
Mrs. Rachel Phillips, Dearing;
his two sons, Andy Phillips, and
Michael Phillips, both of Dearing;
his two sisters, Ann Hickle, and
Louise Reese, both of Thomson;
his brother, Herman L. Phillips,
Dearing; and six grandchildren.
Paulbearers were nephews.
