Beasley Broadcast Group Inc., a large- and mid-size market radio company, has announced that Debbie Pretzello, account executive for WGAC-AM/FM, has been honored as the Overall Winner of the President's Club for 2009.
Chairman and CEO George G. Beasley said, "It is with great pride that we recognize Debbie's accomplishments in spite of a challenging sales environment. She is to be commended for achieving what we consider to be the pinnacle of success for our sales executives."
Executive Vice President of Sales Heather Monahan added, "This is the first time that Debbie has earned a place in our President's Club. That fact that she surpassed her colleagues to also claim the title as the Overall Winner is extraordinary. She has definitely raised the bar for those new to the club."
The President's Club consists of Beasley sales executives inducted annually for their abilities to meet or exceed advertising sales budget goals, attain accreditation from the Radio Advertising Bureau as Certified Radio Marketing Consultants and surpass goals for numbers of proposals written and for higher price per unit rates. The individual with the highest overall rating is named the winner of the President's Club for the calendar year.
Pretzello joined award-winning WGAC from a family owned and operated business in 2008.
Vice President and Market Manager Kent Dunn said, "Although new to radio sales, Debbie hit the streets running on her first day with WGAC. Since then she has not only met, but often exceeded, each budget to date. She is very customer-service driven and continues to outperform the station and the market in the development of new business."
WGAC is heard at 580 AM and 93.1 FM.
