McDuffie County students take on 4-H contest

Junior/Senior District

Project Achievement

More than 900 Northeast District 4-H'ers in grades 7-12 met at Rock Eagle on March 12-14 for Junior/Senior District Project Achievement. Five competitors were from McDuffie County.

To qualify to compete, 4-H members must prepare a portfolio, which is similar to a resume. The portfolio includes a cover letter, list of activities completed during the year, and photo pages to support the written material. Portfolios are scored before the judging event.

The following McDuffie County students attended in their project areas:

Aaliyah Ivery (Performing Arts -- General)

DeAsia Moon (History)

Courtney Reed (Crafts)

Ry'Teisear Webb (History)

Debra Weir (International).
