THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Mance West,
71, of Thomson, was held on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 2:30 p.m.
at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Thomson, with Pastor,
Rev. Rodney Lockett, Eulogist, and Rev. Patricia Lazenby, Presiding.
Interment: Church Cemetery.
Survivors: husband, Deacon Tommy West, Thomson; a daughter,
Johnnie Mae Ivey, Thomson; three sons, Frankie Bowdry, Bonny D.
Mance, both of Thomson, and Anthony (Sabrina) Bowdry, Madison;
nine step-children, Evangelist Brenda McNair, Veronica West, Eddie
(Linda) West, all of Thomson, Minister Harriett (Glen) Gordon,
Lithonia, Tracy West, Atlanta, Dennis West, both of Atlanta, Rev.
Timothy (Minnie) West, Warrenton, Willie (Janice) West, Warner
Robins, and David (Patricia) West, Maryland; two god-daughters,
Glenis Dorsey, and Janice Belton, both of Dearing; three sisters, Fannie
Sims, Annie Tutt, and Dianne Bussey, all of Thomson; six brothers,
Robert (June) Bradshaw, Petersburg, VA, Rev. Jimmy (Johnnie)
Bradshaw, Columbus, OH, Tommy (Gloria) Mance, Warrenton, Willie
(Ethel) Mance, William Mance, and Johnny (Mary Ann) Mance, all
of Thomson; eight sisters-in-law, Delia Grant, Dearing, Ella Mae
Hamilton, Mary (Hester) Bell, Eula (Rev. Dwayne) Cowins, Elaine
(Leroy) Cummings, Linda West, Edith Jones, all of Thomson, and
Shirley West, Augusta; three brothers-in-law, J. D. Howard, Charles
West, and Willie West, all of Thomson; five grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren;
27 step- grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren;
a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
