Mrs. Marian Stewart Wilhoit

WARRENTON, GA - Mrs. Marian Stewart Wilhoit, age 87, beloved
wife of 66 years to Mr. Wirt F. Wilhoit, died peacefully April 15, 2010
at the University Hospital in Augusta.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the
First United Methodist Church of Warrenton, with Revs. Susannah
Davis and Jim Hanna officiating. Burial followed in the Sallie Hill
Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilhoit, a native of Hancock County, GA, was a graduate of
Georgia State College for Women. She was a devoted wife, mother,
and homemaker and an active member of the First United Methodist
Church of Warrenton,
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Mr. Wirt F. Wilhoit,
three daughters, Lyn Wilhoit Reed, Denver, CO, Beth Wilhoit Ard,
Washington, GA, Jo Wilhoit (Alton) Johnson, Warrenton, GA, one
son, Billy (Cile) Wilhoit, Warrenton, GA. She will be missed by nine
grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her
true friend, Mrs. Isabel Wheeler.
Pallbearers were J. B. Johnson, Milton Chalker, Emile Carr, Sonny
Pierce, Palmer Hadden, Joey Kaney, Hal Wheeler, and Al Wheeler.

GA 30828.
Lowe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
