Mr. Clarence W. Hobbs

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Clarence W. Hobbs, 85, of
Thomson, entered into rest April 26, 2010, at Thomson
Manor. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Hobbs.
Memorial services were held at 3 p.m., Friday, April 30,
2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy
Dunaway officiating.
Mr. Hobbs was born in McDuffie County, and was the son
of the late Mack David Hobbs and the late Ruth Hobbs. He
lived in Baltimore, Maryland for many years and retired as
an instrument technician from Fischer & Porter Company
with over 18 years of service. Mr. Hobbs was a member
of St. Andrews Lutheran Church and a member of Cassia
Masonic Lodge #45 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Hobbs of Thomson;
sons, Richard Hobbs, David Hobbs and his wife Mary, all of
Baltimore, MD; and a brother, Harold Hobbs of Florida.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
