The recent Baby Derby Photo Contest sponsored by the Camellia City Lions was a successful fund raising event with the proceeds going to Lions Sight Conservation Projects. The first place winner of a trophy and a $100 bond was Carson Shelton, son of Jonathon and Cathy Shelton; second place winner of a trophy and a $50 bond was Emma Lee Powell, daughter of George and Samantha Holliman; and third place winner of a trophy and cash were twins Rylee and Jordon Holliman, daughters of George and Samantha Holliman. Also attending the Baby Derby party and being recognized was Sataria Cobb, daughter of Brandon Cobb and Sabrina Pinkston. Other participants were Harrison Heath, son of Aaron and Alicia Heath; Elle Blankenship, daughter of Caryn and Garrett Blankenship; Jared Austin Williams, son of Greg and Michelle Williams; and Allee Washington, daughter of Rusty and Ashlee Washington.
