THS golfers finish 12th in state
The Thomson High School boys' golf team has concluded its 2010 season, having participated in the Georgia Class AAA state tournament last week.
The Bulldogs of head coach Chris Hodges finished 12th in the state tourney. The team posted a score of 327.
Columbus won the state championship, followed by Elbert County, who came in runners-up.
The Thomson players posted the following scores during state play:
Ethan Chamineak, 72;
Jay Bieltz, 84;
Walker Barmore, 84;
Jason English, 87;
Charlie Barmore, 88; and
Matt Stevenson, 94.
