The Temple-Inland Foundation Scholarship Program was established for children of eligible active, retired or deceased employees of Temple-Inland. This year, 31 graduating seniors throughout the country were awarded scholarships.
The program recognizes and assists those students who have demonstrated outstanding academic ability, leadership and other significant qualities. It is hoped that these young people who benefit from this scholarship will develop into responsible adult citizens able to make important economic and social contributions to their families, communities and country. Alysha Marie Algier of Gibson, is one of the 2010 recipients of the Temple-Inland Scholarship awards. Larry E. Thompson, Plant Manager of Temple-Inland, Thomson Particleboard Plant, presented the award to Alysha Algier, daughter of JR. Algier.
