Operation Augusta Cares
For the fourth year The Family Y, in partnership with area churches, businesses, and organizations, held Operation Augusta Cares, a day of appreciation for the families of all military in our area who are deployed overseas. Thomson Camellia Lions Club provided cookies and Thomson Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars provided a gift card from Walmart for a door prize and had volunteers to help where needed.
